Left HangZhou this morning for Shanghai. The rail system here is awesome. They're high speed, and fairly cheap. Arrived in Shanghai, got checked into our apartment for the night. Then hit a restaurant for lunch, had the first western meal since arriving in China. After lunch, we hit up the Shanghai World Financial Center. It has the highest observation deck in the world. Maybe one day they'll hold an event off this building! ;)
A bit more cruising around Shanghai, including a ferry ride for .30 cents. The taxi rides have been quite amusing. On one hand it's great traveling with Geoff because he can speak the language,...on the other hand it's funny to see the taxis freak out when they see 2 dudes in wheelchairs together!! We've had a few just drive off, so I now hide in the shadows until he gets one to stop, then roll out and watch them squirm and try to get out of taking us all.
